🇳🇿 Para alpine skier and grant recipient @bailleyunahi knows a lot about self-care for athletes. When she isn’t on the slopes, she works full time as an occupational therapist, empowering others to navigate daily life after illness, injury, or disability.
POV: I got the @airbnb athlete travel grant and stayed at a home near the rink in Milan for valuable time training for my fifth Paralympic Games. And of course, I drank a lot of ☕🤌
I hope to win for my country, but also for my fellow teammates and this sport that has given me so much.

POV: I got the @airbnb athlete travel grant and brought my friend Abby to stay and 🏂 with me.
Since I spend half the year on the road, I loved being able to cook my own meals, hang out, and feel at home while I’m training for the Olympics.
I got some great runs in on the course and we had a fun sleepover, complete with a sauna sesh 🧖🏽♀️
POV: I got the @airbnb athlete travel grant and was able to book a stay that gave me some much needed rest days after many hours training on the ice ⛸️
Recovery is key and I love a sauna session.
